About Manwanui InCharge
Manawanui In Charge is New Zealand’s leading facilitator of Individualised Funding (IF) for people who want a no fuss way to manage their supports.
Individualised Funding is a payment mechanism for disability supports. It is based on a philosophy of person centred control, in which people should be empowered and enabled to live ordinary lives and have control and choice over that life.
So if you are a disabled person, parent or guardian of a disabled person, and you want more choice about how, when and who provides your government funded support, Individualised Funding might be an option for you.
Not everyone can receive Individualised Funding - there are certain eligibility criteria. You need to be assessed by your Needs Assessment and Service Co-ordination (NASC) Agency first.
Once you have been assessed as eligible, you chose an IF Host Provider to help you set things up. Manawanui is contracted by the Ministry of Health as a national IF Host Provider, which means wherever you are in New Zealand, we can support you. We are a leading edge, not-for-profit organisation that uses high quality systems and processes to deliver high quality Individualised Funding support and expertise to the disabled community.
