ILS is a partner with Be. Accessible, developing and informing the Be. Accessible and Be. Confident national programmes.
ILS staff members contract as Be. Master Coaches who train Be. Coaches throughout New Zealand to carry out holistic accessibility assessments of businesses, tourism sites and accommodation, with information being made available to access visitors on the be.accessible website.
Lottery Grant Mobility Scooters
If your application to the Lottery Grants Board is successful, you will be asked to attend an assessment that involves:
1. An interview with a Physiotherapist at 14 Erson Avenue, Royal Oak, Auckland
2. An opportunity to trial different scooters to find the one that best matches what you need
3. Training on how to operate and use the scooter safely
4. A home visit to ensure that the mobility scooter is appropriate for your environment.

We can also work with you to build confidence using your current mobility scooter.
At-home mobility scooter or power chair assessments
