1. Introducing Lynette
ILS is pleased to introduce Lynette Southey-Ray, who joins the team as Finance Support. Lynette replaces Joanne Yee who retired to go travelling. As Lynette has a hearing impairment the best way to communicate with her is via email email@example.com.
2. Chinese Oral Hygiene Workshop

Celebrate Chinese New Year at the 2017 Auckland Lantern Festival from Thursday 9 – Sunday 12 February, at the Auckland Domain.
Be entertained and dazzled by hundreds of handmade Chinese lanterns, music and dance performances, traditional festivities, Chinese art and more – there's a range of activities for all ages.

8. Pain Self Management Education Programme
This programme is for people with chronic pain lasting for more than 3 months. Topics will include

9. Counties Manukau Health
Counties Manukau Health would like to invite people who live with a disability or impairment (or have supported a person with a disability or impairment) and have received care in Counties Manukau Health within the last two years to share their experiences.
This is being held on Wed 22 February 2017, 10am - 12.30pm in the Ko Awatea Building, Room 107 at Middlemore Hospital.

10. Interacting community classes for young people with a disability
These fun, well run classes take place weekly during term time and give the opportunity to make friends, learn skills and build confidence. We operate out of four Auckland venues and classes are $10 per session.
Drama on Mondays in Takapuna with Janet- 1.00-2.30
Drama and film making on Thursdays in Manurewa, Film 10-12 & drama 12-2
Drama and Hip hop in Henderson on Fridays, drama is 9.30-11.30 and hip hop is 12-1.30
Drama in Mt Albert on Fridays with Marlon- 12.30-2pm

11. Live your dream
Live Your Dream is a programme to inspire and build self-confidence and educate to recognize opportunities and adopt with the changing markets. The program encourages people to develop self-awareness and inspire their creative potential with a specific focus on their contribution to a more diverse New Zealand workforce and society.
We will be conducting series of workshops in Auckland communities on building creative confidence, skill assessing and creating entrepreneurial awareness.
The workshop is to support people to formulate entrepreneurial thinking. Participants are motivated for starting their own enterprise and briefed on the opportunities available for such enterprises, keeping in mind the resources and technical feasibility.It’s beneficial for job seekers or who are considering entrepreneurial activities and wish to strengthen their professional network, are looking for talent, partners, or investors.
